Experience

Kerry has been teaching at Greenville since the fall of 1995.  She was in the gym teaching PE all day from 1995-2012.  In the fall of 2012, the Health and PE staff positions shifted slightly, and Kerry began teaching some Health 9 and Health/PE 11 classes.  Beginning with the 2013 school year, she moved out of the girls' locker room to a classroom of her very own to take over all of the Health 9 and Health/PE 11 classes.  Changes in curriculum took place again with the start of the 2017-19 school year, and Kerry kept the 9th grade health, 11th grade PE, and added 8th grade PE back in to the mix.  In the 2020-21 school year, one section of 7th grade Health/PE was added to her schedule, rounding out a complete junior/senior high school experience.

In addition to her teaching duties, Kerry has spent time coaching a variety of high school sport teams including volleyball, track and field, and she was the boys and girls cross country coach from 1997-2015.

Bio

Kerry grew up on a small goat farm just outside Fredonia, PA. During her time at Lakeview High School, she was involved with band, choir, cross country, track, newspaper, and a variety of clubs. She continued her involvement with cross country and track at Slippery Rock University  where she was a 4 year letter winner and senior year captain of the womens cross country team.

Kerry lives in Greenville with her dogs Lucy and Sophie.  She has three grown daughters, Alexis, Cassia, and Danica who are busy living their best lives across the country.  Outside of her teaching duties, Kerry has a small portrait photography business and can often be found photographing high school sporting events.
