I graduated from Wheeling Park High School in Wheeling, WV in 1998. I then attended West Liberty University in West Virginia, where I was named English Major of the Year and the President of the International English Honor Society Sigma Tau Delta. After earning my degree, I moved to Pittsburgh where I worked as a Course Administrator in the Software Engineering Institute of Carnegie Mellon University for five years. After moving to the Shenango Valley, I taught as a substitute teacher in several local school districts. In 2012, I took a position at Reynolds Jr/Sr High School where I taught/coached for four years. In 2016, I was hired at GHS where I teach Practical English 10, Practical English 11, and College Prep English 12.
I live in Hermitage with my family. I enjoy reading, cooking, exercising and spending time with my family/friends.
