Certified military instructor for 13 years, including six years as a teacher in a formal training school.

Certified as a secondary education teacher in Pennsylvania in 2017. Student teaching done in 2016 at Lakeview High School. Substitute teacher in multiple school districts throughout Mercer and Crawford Counties. Summer School teacher for George Junior Republic in 2017. Long-term substitute for Greenville High School since November 2018.


Retired Air Force colonel, with 25 years as a commissioned officer. Assignments included all levels from squadron through Air Staff Pentagon. On retirement, joined the US Civil Service as a DoD civilian. Served nearly six years as the Chief of Training and Exercises for a joint force headquarters, and one year as a department supervisor for the Erie VA Medical Center. Other experience includes one year as a restaurant manager, three years in retail sales, and nine years as a small business owner.

Most unusual thing people do not know about me: I have a photograph of myself with my arms wrapped around the USGS South Pole marker as evidence that the world really does revolve around me. :)
