Bio

I graduated from Shaler High School in Pittsburgh in 1991.  I then attended the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown where I played soccer for all four years.  I moved to southern Maryland where I taught at La Plata High School for three years.  Wanting to return to the Pittsburgh area, I then took a job at Knoch High School.  After getting married I decided to move closer to my husband's job, so I accepted a position at Greenville High School.

I have been teaching eleventh grade English since arriving at Greenville.  I also teach both AP Literature and Composition and AP Language and composition, in addition to yearbook.  The yearbook has received many awards in my tenure, including YSU Press Day "Best Overall Yearbook" and being selected for the annual Herff Jones "Ideas That Fly" publication.

I live in New Wilmington with my husband and two children who attend Mercer.  I enjoy reading, biking, hiking, and doing laundry!
