     I am the youngest of three children born and raised in Moon Township, PA.  After graduating from college in 1989, I moved to Springville, NY to teach in Delevan Elementary School. I moved back to PA and married Gary Calleja in 1990.  We have two boys, Bradley and Jarett, and live on two acres in Sharpsville. 

     We belong to and/are involved in a variety of activities:  Conservatory, Relay for life, Shenango Valley River Watchers, and we raise money for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the American Diabetes Association.  Most recently, I am a team leader of the operations team for WaterFire Sharon.  I plan and execute brazier building on land and water, the torch procession and numerous other operational duties. 

     Aside from our community activities, we enjoy hiking, biking, and kayaking in our free time.  I enjoy gardening and canning pie fillings, jams, soups, and hot peppers.  We recently learned how to tap trees on our property and now produce maple syrup each spring.
